Kenya Safari Lodges & Hotels Ltd is seeking to fill a position with dedicated, experienced and highly talented hospitality professional.

SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To ensure that all computers are well maintained and in good working conditions. 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1.  Do routine preventative maintenance of all computes and their peripherals in ALL Units 

  2.  Prepare a report showing status of all computer equipment after every service.

  3.  Repair of ICT equipment and associate peripherals.

  4. Hardware and software enhancement (Ram, Antivirus etc)

  5.  Extending the LAN (Local Area Network) whenever necessary

  6. Monitor the performance of the Wireless network and reporting any fault for further action.

  7.   Provide ICT support to staff and guests

  8.   Inspect new computer equipment on acquisition and install as appropriate 

  9.  Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware faults;

  10. Support the rollout of new applications 

  11.  conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment

  12.  Liaise with external suppliers for the repair of equipment under warranty or maintenance contract.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  1.    Minimum ‘O’ level education with at least KCSE Grade c+ or equivalent

  2.  Professional Qualification :Diploma in Electronic specializing in computer appliances from a recognized institution

  3.   Length of Experience :3 years with a minimum of 2 years in the same position

  4.  Computer proficiency with experience of sun systems and Fidelio V 7. 

  5.  Additional skills required: Good communication skills-written & spoken.

  6.   Ability to work under minimum Supervision, Demonstrate meticulous attention to details

· Advise the Board on the formulation of KSLH corporate strategy and implementation of sound marketing/sales plans, budget proposals, and human resources practices, financial and operational policies.

  • Implement the organizational structure and ensure continuous review so that it is consistent with the market trends.

 

  • Ensure implementation of sound HR policies and practices to maximize the employees’ potential and contributions.

 

  • Ensure effective and efficient coordination of operational systems and controls. Manage and review the allocation of company resources to ensure that the highest quality of service and product standards are delivered and maintained.

 

  • Sign Performance Contracts (PC) with senior management team. Direct and review PC work plans; monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to ensure achievement of desired targets and results.

 

  • Ensure KSLH operations comply with the relevant regulatory and legislative framework. Oversee compliance with all professional, ethical, legal and statutory requirements in the conduct of company business.

 

  • Provide proactive PR and relationship management within the network of local, regional and global business partners and stakeholders
